In early December, the Edinger Avenue bridge opened to traffic. This is the seventh of 18 bridges being replaced as part of the I-405 Improvement Project, which is widening the freeway between Costa Mesa and the Los Angeles County line.
The Edinger Avenue bridge opening marks an important milestone, restoring a connection across the freeway that is vital to local residents and businesses.
The improved bridge is taller, wider and features new sidewalks and bike lanes. Check out the celebration of the bridge opening here.
