More people are using the OC Vanpool Program, an indication that employers and commuters are increasingly embracing the benefits of these month-to-month super carpools.
The OC Vanpool Program ended November 2022 with 125 active vanpools, a 5 percent increase from June 2022 and a 14 percent increase from November 2021.
Vanpool commutes continue to have a positive impact on air quality. Since July 2022, they have reduced vehicle miles travelled by more than 3.6 million, fuel consumption
by over 148,000 gallons and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by more than 1,400 tons.
