Unplug and Join Us for a Free Equestrian Ride

Please join us July 14 at 8:30 a.m. for a guided ride through one of the most beautiful off-the-grid areas of Orange County.

The Trabuco Rose Preserve is a 396-acre parcel located northwest of the City of Rancho Santa Margarita in Trabuco Canyon. Bordered by the Cleveland National Forest to the north and Trabuco Creek to the south, Hickey Creek drains the western side. The Preserve features rolling terrain with elevations ranging from 1,120 to 1,650 feet above mean sea level.

As you ride, you’ll see a variety of habitats including coastal sage scrub, chaparral, riparian, herbaceous wetlands, grassland, and cliff and rock.

Hosted by OCTA and made possible by OC Go (also known as Measure M), the event is free. Space is limited and registration is required. Riders must bring their own horse and participants must be 12 years and over. All riders are required to sign a liability waiver and minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Space is limited. To register and learn more about the equestrian rides and hikes, visit here or contact Marissa Espino at mespino@octa.net or 714.560.5607.
