Teen Council Seeks New Members

The OCTA Teen Council offers high school students an opportunity to learn about land use and transportation issues while working with OCTA staff to develop and implement strategic, collaborative projects. Members build leadership, communication, and teamwork skills while engaging in community service projects and transportation-related discussions. It’s a great way to network and is a noteworthy addition to college applications and resumes.

New members are needed for the 2016-17 term and the application deadline is July 31, 2016. Applicants must be age 13 to 18 as of Sept. 1, 2016, reside in Orange County, be entering grades 9 to 12 at an Orange County public or private school, and be willing to commit an average of six hours per month to the Teen Council.
