OCTA Workshops on How to Ride the Bus Available in Five Languages

OCTA’s Transit Training workshops can help people develop confident bus-riding skills before trying OC Bus for the first time. Designed for groups of 10 to 20, online and in-person* workshops are offered in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean and Mandarin to assure that the diverse population of Orange County has access to this useful instruction.

Training includes trip planning, fare options, how to safely board and exit, and ADA accessibility standards and using mobility devices. Registration is required. Learn more and sign up here.

Once training is complete, those who complete a survey will receive two free one-day bus passes.

In addition, one-on-one and small group (2-3 people) in-person training is available. These sessions have limited multi-language availability.

With more than 500 fixed-route buses and nearly 5,500 bus stops, OC Bus is a convenient, safe way to visit shops and museums, run errands and get to appointments or enjoy a day of fun.

Safety has always been OCTA’s highest priority, and OC Bus continues to be a safe way to get across town or across county. Face masks are required on public transit and OCTA continues to follow health requirements and guidance from federal, state and local agencies to prioritize the health and safety of riders and employees.
