For the eighth consecutive year, OCTA’s Contracts Administration and Materials Management (CAMM) Department has been awarded an Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award by the National Procurement Institute.
This award recognizes organizational excellence in procurement. Public and non-profit organizations are eligible to earn the award by obtaining a high application score based on standardized criteria designed to measure innovation, professionalism, e-procurement, productivity and leadership.
OCTA is one of only 47 government agencies in California and one of only 29 special districts in the United States and Canada to receive the award.
The CAMM Department develops and issues solicitations for all goods, inventory items, consultant and professional services, and public works (construction) projects. The contract administrators employed in CAMM are responsible for purchasing activities and are the primary point of contact for vendors.
