OCTA was well represented at the state’s largest one-day transportation conference last week during the 14th Annual Mobility 21 Southern California Transportation Summit at the Disneyland Hotel.
The annual conference drew more than a thousand attendees, including transportation executives, policy makers, and nationally known transportation experts to engage in discussions about topics ranging from driverless vehicles to improving last mile transit by encouraging active transportation.
OCTA Chairman Jeff Lalloway, also the Mayor Pro Tem of Irvine, and Vice Chair Lori Donchak along with Board members Lisa Bartlett, Gary Miller, Al Murray, Greg Winterbottom and CEO Darrell Johnson were in attendance.
Chair Lalloway contributed welcoming remarks and also participated in the Chairman’s’ Roundtable on, “How Do You Keep the Politics Out Of Mobility?” Director Bartlett was one of the experts tackling the topic, “The Different Voices of Road User Charge & the Path Forward.” CEO Johnson was part of a roundtable discussion entitled, “Balancing Local Measure Goals with Emerging State Policies.”
