Prime contractors, small businesses and disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE) joined OCTA at its recent “Meet the Primes” networking event attended by approximately 170 people.
Participants from some of the country’s largest construction and professional service companies networked and created partnering opportunities with small businesses and DBE while learning about OCTA’s procurement process and small business resources.
The event facilitated 120 one-on-one meetings between primes and small and DBE specializing in construction, program management, engineering, design and other fields, providing a unique opportunity for meaningful connections and partnering opportunities.
The event provided attendees with valuable insights into OCTA’s upcoming procurements and contracting opportunities. OCTA is dedicated to creating a successful ecosystem for small businesses and the prime contracting community as part of its ongoing equity efforts and in support of the private sector that delivers many of its projects.
