The North Orange County Community College District (NOCCCD) oversees Cypress College, Fullerton College, and North Orange Continuing Education centers. For the past 13 years, OCTA provided funding for travel training to disabled students at these three large community college institutions. Funding for the program was provided through a Federal Job Access Reverse Commute (JARC) grant.
Recently, the NOCCCD was recognized for supporting individuals with disabilities with a Community Recognition Award presented by the California Association for Postsecondary Education and Disability. Several partnerships, in addition to that with OCTA, contributed to the success of the program.
