Last week, trade magazine Engineering News-Record (ENR) presented OCTA with its California’s 2019 Owner of the Year Award. OCTA was chosen based on overall commitment to excellence and innovative work throughout the region.
In a blog about award recipient OCTA, ENR mentioned the I-405 Improvement Project and OC Go (also known as Measure M), the sales tax program that helps fund many Orange County infrastructure projects.
An ENR feature article highlighted OCTA’s major projects and praised its solid reputation and track record, saying, “Fueled by voter approval of OC Go, which extends upon a bond measure that transformed the county’s transportation system over the last 20 years, OCTA is riding high on public trust and collaboration with its public and private partners. It is also ENR California’s 2019 Owner of the Year.”
