Saddle up on Sept. 26 and join us to explore OCTA’s scenic wilderness preserve in Trabuco Canyon. OCTA’s acquisition of this beautiful land allows it to be permanently protected for the people of Orange County and helps preserve wildlife and habitat.
Multiple rides will be held throughout the morning. Please bring your own horse.
The area was acquired as part of the Measure M Freeway Environmental Mitigation Program, a comprehensive plan that preserves and restores natural habitats and allows for expedited delivery of freeway projects. The other six properties are located in Brea, Silverado Canyon, and Laguna Beach. The total acreage of all seven properties is more than 1,300 acres.
Space is limited. Register online or contact OCTA Public Outreach Manager Marissa Espino at 714-560-5607 to join us.
