Enjoy a Free Spring Wilderness Hike with Your Family

Once a year, OCTA hosts a special hike and educational event designed for families. After our rainy winter, it’s time to get outdoors and stretch your legs! Mark your calendars for April 6 at the Trabuco Rose Preserve.

Perfect for kids, the easy hike is only half a mile one way. A moderate two-mile hike is also available at this location.

All ages are welcome with a parent or a guardian. We’ll have nature-related crafts for those age 4 and above.

This interpretive excursion will take place on the 396-acre Trabuco Rose Preserve. OCTA’s acquisition of the property allows this core segment of the Trabuco Canyon area to be permanently protected and ensures the preservation of high quality habitat and mobility for wildlife into the Cleveland National Forest.
