Discover How Your Tax Dollars Improve Transportation

Transportation improvements made possible by Measure M benefit Orange County residents every day. Some of the uses of the county’s half-cent sales tax for transportation improvements include freeway and street improvements, signal synchronization, Orange County Metrolink commuter rail funding, street runoff pollution reduction, open space acquisition and restoration for environmental mitigation, and programs and discounted fares that increase mobility for seniors and persons with disabilities.

Each year, OCTA publishes a progress report on Measure M projects. For the second year in a row, we’re depicting that information in a lively infographic. This quick-read format will assist residents in discovering how their money is spent. The report features highlights of the past year and a summary of the 2015 financial statements. Those who want more detail can click on each section and view additional information about every program.
