The southern California chapter of the Association for Commuter Transportation recently conducted its annual event to share information about progress and innovation across its regional membership. Participants at the virtual gathering included OCTA, Metrolink, San Bernardino County Transportation Authority, Riverside County Transportation Commission, San Diego Association of Governments, Ventura County Transportation Commission and IE Commuter, a rideshare matching organization for the Inland Empire.
OCTA’s presentation highlighted the many commuter transportation alternatives available in Orange County, particularly OC Vanpool, OC Bus programs including Youth Ride Free and the Community College Pass, e-bikes and the new 405 Express Lanes.
