March is Women's History Month, a time to commemorate and celebrate the achievements of American women.
During Women’s History Month and throughout the year, OCTA provides employees with many opportunities for advancement and encourages participation in activities such as the Women’s Equity Group and WTS, an industry association that advances women and transportation.
From July to December 2022, more than two-thirds (64 percent) of promotions were earned by women.
Women comprise the following at OCTA:
- 58% of 2022 administrative employees of the month
- 58% of graduates from OCTA’s Early Career Academy
- 48% of the current administrative employee population
- 45% of new hires from July to December 2022
