Applicants Sought for Measure M Taxpayer Oversight Committee

OCTA is seeking qualified volunteers to serve on the Measure M Taxpayer Oversight Committee (TOC). TOC members help keep an eye on tax dollars by monitoring OCTA’s use of Measure M funds and ensuring that all revenue collected from Measure M is spent on voter-approved transportation projects.

The application deadline for the 2016-2019 term is May 2 to fill four positions on the 11-member committee, one each in the First, Third, Fourth and Fifth Districts. Orange County residents residing in the First, Third, Fourth or Fifth District are eligible to apply. Please note that elected or appointed city, district, state or federal officials are not eligible to serve on the TOC. To view a list of cities in each district, please click here.

The Grand Jurors Association of Orange County is conducting the TOC recruitment program and will recommend qualified candidates for membership. For additional information or to request an application, visit the TOC recruitment webpage or call the selection panel at (714) 970-9329.
