Annual OC Go Public Hearing Will be Conducted June 13

The Taxpayer Oversight Committee (TOC) will conduct the 32nd Annual OC Go Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 13.  OC Go, also known as Measure M, is Orange County’s half-cent sales tax for transportation improvements.

The independent, 11-member oversight committee monitors OCTA’s use of OC Go funding, approves all changes to the OC Go Investment Plan (Plan) and holds an annual public hearing to determine whether OCTA is proceeding in accordance with the Plan.

During the hearing, the TOC will review major committee actions taken, OC Go financial audit results, and listen to any public comments relating to the implementation of OC Go. To learn more about the hearing and how to submit comments, visit here.

Comments must be submitted by June 9.

For the past 32 years, OC Go has funded hundreds of local projects that improve travel for residents every day, including freeway enhancements, light signal synchronization for more efficient travel, street and intersection improvements that make Orange County roads among the best in the state, and improvements to Metrolink commuter rail service in Orange County.
