Walk, Bike and Explore the OC Loop

Staying in OC for Thanksgiving? Shake off some of that post-feast lethargy with a walk or bike ride along the OC Loop, a planned 66-mile route that provides access to 17 OC cities. About 70 percent of the OC Loop has been completed; when finished, it will link the Santa Ana River, Coastal, Union Pacific Row and Coyote Creek trails. OCTA is working with other stakeholders to close the remaining gaps.

The OC Loop allows people to connect with their environment and see parts of Orange County that go unnoticed when traveling by car. Completed areas include the Santa Ana River Trail from Newport Beach to Yorba Linda and portions of the Coyote Creek Trail from Huntington Beach to Cerritos.

The OC Loop also provides convenient paths to some of the area’s most popular destinations and first and last mile connections to numerous bus stops and three Metrolink stations. Click here to find out more and use the OC Loop to visit local parks, beaches, schools and shopping areas without worrying about traffic and parking.
