Since 2018, OCTA’s biggest project has consistently moved forward to improve a 16-mile stretch of the freeway between Costa Mesa and the Orange County border with Los Angeles County. Now approximately 75 percent complete, the project is on target to finish in 2023.
To celebrate this milestone, OCTA created a series of videos that showcases completed bridges and on- and off-ramps; outreach activities including diversity outreach to the local Vietnamese and Latinx communities; and the 405 Forward Program, which is focused on supporting local businesses throughout the corridor.
