Two Outgoing Board Members Recognized for Their Service

Outgoing Directors Barbara Delgleize and Joseph Muller were honored recently for their service to OCTA and the people of Orange County.

Director Delgleize, also the mayor of Huntington Beach, served six years on the OCTA Board of Directors and championed innovation, transportation, and alternative ways to travel. Throughout her time at OCTA, Director Delgleize took on leadership roles such as Vice Chair of the Regional Planning and Highways Committee and served on the Legislative and Communications Committee. Her work with the I-405 Improvement Project and OC Go contributed greatly to OCTA’s planning efforts and community outreach programs.

Director Muller, also the mayor of Dana Point, served four years on the OCTA Board. He chaired the Regional Planning and Highways Committee and assisted in the advancement of projects and studies in South Orange County. In addition, he supported the Environmental and Sustainability Committee and helped ensure the distribution of funds for OC Go, also known as Measure M, the county’s half-cent sales tax for transportation improvements.
