Taxpayer Oversight Committee to Conduct 32nd Annual OC Go Public Hearing

The Taxpayer Oversight Committee (TOC) will conduct the 32nd Annual OC Go Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 13.  OC Go, also known as Measure M, is Orange County’s half-cent sales tax for transportation improvements.

During the hearing, the TOC will review major committee actions taken, OC Go financial audit results, and listen to any public comments relating to the implementation of OC Go.

The independent, 11-member oversight committee serves as a voter safeguard to monitor OCTA’s use of OC Go funding, approve all changes to the OC Go plan and hold annual public hearings on the expenditure of funds generated by the sales tax measure.

For the past 32 years, OC Go has funded hundreds of local projects that improve travel for residents every day, including freeway enhancements, light signal synchronization for more efficient travel, street and intersection improvements that make Orange County roads among the best in the state, and improvements to Metrolink commuter rail service in Orange County.
