SR-91 Ramp Closure Paves Way for Future Mobility Enhancements

As part of a major effort to improve mobility along the SR-91 corridor, OCTA, in partnership with Caltrans, is advancing work that will reduce congestion and enhance travel reliability for years to come.

A two-year closure of the eastbound SR-91 loop on-ramp from southbound Lakeview Avenue has begun and will support vital construction activities that are essential to modernizing the corridor. This work is part of broader improvements designed to streamline traffic flow and reduce merging and weaving between interchanges – making daily commutes safer and more efficient.

As part of the SR-91 Improvement Project, OCTA is working with the neighboring cities of Anaheim, Orange, Placentia, Fullerton and Yorba Linda.

OCTA remains committed to working closely with local partners and keeping the public informed throughout construction. These upgrades are a key step toward delivering a smarter, more connected transportation future for Orange County.
