The San Clemente Business Association was the latest group to receive a presentation from the Capital Projects Outreach Team regarding construction on Interstate 5 (I-5) in south county.
The 5.7-mile I-5 South County Improvement Project extends from Avenida Pico in San Clemente to San Juan Creek Road in San Juan Capistrano. The four-year, $249 million project will add carpool lanes and improve access and safety. Construction has begun on the first segment and will commence on the second two later this year.
