The SR-55 (I-405 to I-5) Improvement Project will add one regular lane and one carpool lane in each direction as well as merge lanes between interchanges. In addition, carpool lanes will be striped for continuous access, making it easier for motorists to enter and exit the lanes. SR-55 is a major north/south route connecting Orange County to Riverside and San Bernardino counties, and for accessing key business centers, John Wayne Airport and the beach cities. The $475.1 million Project is funded by OC Go (also known as Measure M), as well as state and federal funds.

If you are a business, civic organization or community group interested in a briefing or presentation, please email SR55Info@octa.net. To stay informed about the Project, sign up to receive weekly construction alerts here or visit the website.
