OCTA Chair and Irvine Mayor Pro Tem Jeffrey Lalloway is expected to speak Feb. 14 at the sixth annual Mardi Gras for Autism. The free event is designed to encourage families to enjoy the fun of Mardi Gras while raising money for Fullerton special education programs and will feature many activities appropriate for children of all ages and abilities.
Expected to attract 3,000 people, the event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Fullerton Transportation Center parking lot and can be easily reached by public transportation. In addition to Metrolink 91 and OC line trains, the area is also served by OCTA bus routes 24, 26, 43, 47, 143 and 543.
Those visiting the onsite OCTA booth can learn about the many ways to travel through Orange County, play Plinko, and win prizes.
