OCTA Leads Transportation Show and Tell for Business Coordinators

Throughout the year, OCTA works with employee transportation coordinators (ETCs) from Orange County businesses to promote activities that help take cars off the road to reduce traffic and pollution.

To thank the ETCs for their hard work and to celebrate Dump the Pump Week, OCTA took them on a field trip to experience the different modes of transportation offered OCTA and to learn more about the programs that are available.

The five-hour event began and ended at OCTA. In between, the ETCs traveled by bus, train, and vanpool, ate breakfast, and toured the Mission at San Juan Capistrano.

“This is my first year as an ETC, and I enjoyed hearing about the successful programs fellow ETCs have implemented in their organizations,” said Laurie Aubuchon, who attended from the City of Buena Park. “On the trip, I gained first-hand experience by taking several modes of transportation offered by OCTA, and this will allow me to better assist my employees with their commutes.”
