Recently, OCTA received two PROTOS awards from the Orange County Chapter of Public Relations Society of America (OCPRSA). The 405 Forward Program garnered an award in the category, Total Program - Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and the 91 Express Lanes website won in the Website Development category.
As part of the 405 Forward business outreach program, the 405 Outreach Team partners with cities and chambers of commerce along the I-405 Improvement Project corridor. The program encourages communities to shop at local restaurants, retailers and service providers and share favorites with their neighbors. More than 220 businesses participate in the free program. Nearly 75 percent of the businesses are Vietnamese-owned, reflecting the area’s diversity and the effectiveness of OCTA’s outreach to diverse communities.
The new 91 Express Lanes website was enhanced to help customers live life on time, combining compelling content with a modern design easily accessed by mobile phones.
Both showcase OCTA’s commitment to a balanced and sustainable transportation system that reflects the diverse travel needs of the county’s 34 cities and 3.2 million residents.
