In June, OCTA garnered top recognition in two categories at the annual awards dinner hosted by the Orange County Chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies, where OCTA CEO Darrell E. Johnson served as emcee.
The 2025 Project of the Year award went to OCTA’s I-5 South County Improvements Project. This recognition reflects the tremendous effort behind a complex, high-impact project that improves mobility, enhances safety and delivers lasting benefits to South Orange County.
In addition, Niall Barrett, Program Manager, in OCTA’s Highway Program, Capital Project Delivery Department, was recognized as Public Sector Employee of the Year.
