OCTA Adventure Series Will Use Videos to Attract New Riders

Discovering all of OCTA’s programs and services can be an adventure, and a new marketing campaign launching soon will encourage people to embark on that journey. Targeted at non-riders, the OCTA Adventure Series will use engaging lifestyle videos to entice and educate people about the many transportation options OCTA offers.

The six short videos are expected to build enthusiasm for traveling by Metrolink, bus, bike, vanpool and carpool for all ages by depicting the ease, convenience and fun of using OCTA public transportation for work and play. Banner ads will be placed on external websites to attract the attention of those unfamiliar with OCTA’s wealth of transit options.

After watching each video, viewers will be able to enter to win one of many great prizes, including a 30-Day bus pass, Metrolink tickets, Angels baseball tickets, a bike, an iPad Air and $400 in gift cards. In addition, first time customers will be encouraged to request a bus Day Pass or Metrolink round trip ticket to try the services.

Using Twitter, Facebook and other social media platforms, OCTA will keep the excitement high by publicizing the contest and lucky winners and encouraging more people to experience the great adventure of OCTA public transportation.
