Now Online, OCTA Annual Reports Foster Transparency and Accountability

Three OCTA annual reports are easily accessible online to provide a snapshot of performance and operations during 2024. These reports reflect OCTA’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and informed community engagement.

OC Go 2024 Annual Report encourages readers to “Discover What a Half Cent Buys” and shows how OC Go money was spent in FY 2024.

This comprehensive transportation program, also known as Measure M, provides improvements for freeways, streets, streetcar and rail infrastructure, mobility services, and the environment and is funded by a local transportation half-cent sales tax.

The report has been translated into Spanish and Vietnamese and shared via print and digital advertising to increase awareness among the people of Orange County.

Marking its first year of operations, the 405 Express Lanes Annual Report showcases the impact of OCTA’s newest managed lanes. Opened in December 2023, the 14-mile 405 Express Lanes runs through the heart of Interstate 405 from Costa Mesa to the Los Angeles County line.

In its first fiscal year, the 405 Express Lanes recorded more than 8.7 million trips, offering drivers a fast, congestion-free commute with advanced all-electronic tolling and free HOV access. The success builds on OCTA’s legacy of innovation in tolling, first introduced with the 91 Express Lanes – the nation’s first fully electronic toll facility, owned and operated by OCTA since 2003.

The 91 Express Lanes also saw record usage in 2024, with more than 21 million trips – the highest since OCTA acquired the lanes 21 years ago. Additionally, 8,703 new accounts were opened, underscoring continued demand for this vital commuting option between Orange and Riverside counties along the heavily traveled SR-91.

The 91 Express Lanes Annual Report 2024 outlines these milestones and other key achievements in what continues to be a reliable alternative for Southern California commuters.
