Last week, a public hearing in Anaheim attracted a cross section of attendees from the residential, business, and non-profit communities who came to learn about the SR-91 Improvement Project from the SR-57 to the SR-55.
In partnership with Caltrans, OCTA is proposing improvements to SR-91 in Anaheim, Fullerton, Orange, and Placentia including a new eastbound general purpose lane from SR-57 to SR-55 and connector improvements from the westbound SR-91 to southbound SR-55. Public comments will be accepted through Dec. 21. Learn how to comment here.
Funding is expected to come from OC Go (also known as Measure M), 91 Express Lanes Excess Toll Revenues, and state and federal funding.
Together with Caltrans, OCTA has added more than 20 lane miles to the SR-91 in Orange County. If this project is approved, it will be the sixth improvement project. For more information about the 91 Improvement Project, click here.
