Beginning July 1, some Metrolink riders will pay less for their trips by rail.
Originally available only for select ticket types, the $3 “Station-to-Station” fare has been extended to all ticket types. The system-wide fare will decrease the cost of short distance trips (20 miles and under) to encourage local travel on Metrolink.
Monthly pass holders can save up to $84 per month, or more than $1,000 per year.
With the new fares, Orange County travelers can travel from San Clemente to Oceanside or Fullerton to Anaheim for only $3 each way, for example. For a great deal on weekend trips, the Metrolink Weekends Day Pass offers unlimited rides on Saturday or Sunday for only $10.
