Join OCTA and Caltrans on October 16 to learn more about proposed changes to SR-55 between I-5 and SR-91. Currently, this stretch of freeway has three to four general purpose lanes and one carpool lane. This project proposes to improve mobility and reduce congestion by adding an additional regular lane in each direction between I-5 and SR-22 and making improvements to 4th Street, Katella Avenue and Lincoln Avenue ramps.
At the open house-style meeting, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the proposed project and discuss it with members of the project team, submit comments, and view the draft environmental document, which addresses project benefits and potential effects. Through October 30, the draft environmental document will be available at the public hearing and at the following at local libraries in Orange, Tustin and Santa Ana. Visit octa.net/SR55NorthDetails for locations.
