In A Radio Interview, CEO Explains How OCTA Keeps OC Moving

Every day, OCTA keeps Orange County moving. CEO Darrell Johnson spoke to OC Talk Radio Public Affairs Director Dawn Kamber recently about how Orange County’s regional transportation agency funds, plans and builds a balanced and sustainable transportation system for Orange County.

OCTA does everything from operating transit service, to delivering freeway and street improvements, to managing Measure M – which is Orange County’s half-cent sales tax for transportation improvements – all while doing its part to protect the environment.

During the course of the interview, Johnson highlighted projects designed to improve the I-405, SR-55 and I-5 South freeways as well as other efforts underway to increase mobility, including active transportation, the upcoming OC Streetcar, and the Youth Ride Free and College Pass bus programs.

OCTA’s many programs and projects align with OCTA’s mission to keep Orange County moving, safely and efficiently.
