March is Women's History Month, a time to commemorate and celebrate the achievements of American women.
During Women’s History Month and throughout the year, OCTA actively encourages women in their rise to success. Nearly half of recent administrative promotions were earned by women and 42 percent of our directors and executive directors are women.
Women comprise the following at OCTA:
- 63% of graduates from the recent Management Development Academy
- 48% of administrative employee promotions from July to December 2021
- 47% of the current administrative employee population
- 46% of administrative employee new hires from July to December 2021
- 42% of the director and executive director group
OCTA values diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging in the workplace. This year, OCTA pledged to embrace inclusive work and culture and enhance diversity as one of its Board and CEO Initiatives.
