Get Active with a Bike Ride

Biking is a great way to enjoy beautiful Orange County while being mindful of COVID-19 cautions. As the county and state begin to reopen, many cyclists are dusting off their bikes or purchasing them for exercise, transportation, or just a way to combat cabin fever.

The following resources provide guidance regarding where you can ride and what types of facilities (i.e. bike lanes, shared-use paths, trails) you will find:

Check the status of the trails before going for a bike ride. Both the AllTrails and the Trailforks website/apps continually update their reports to reflect closures. 

While bicycling and walking are safer alternatives than being with groups of people, please continue to observe social distancing guidelines.

Before heading out, take a quick look at California bicycle laws and remember to leave three feet for safety.
