Five Members Re-elected to OCTA Board of Directors

In 2022, the OCTA Board of Directors will welcome back five current members following elections by the City Selections Committee on November 5.

The results of the selections were:

  • For the 1st Supervisorial District, a one city/one vote seat, Garden Grove Mayor, Steve Jones, was re-selected. This term is for two years, beginning January 2022, and expiring December 2023.
  • For the 2nd Supervisorial District, a population-weighted seat, Huntington Beach Mayor Pro Tem, Barbara Delgleize, was re-selected. This term is for two years, beginning January 2022 and expiring December 2023.
  • For the 3rd Supervisorial District, a one city/one vote seat, Yorba Linda Council Member, Gene Hernandez, was re-selected. This term is for two years, beginning January 2022 and expiring December 2023.
  • For the 4th Supervisorial District, a population-weighted seat, Anaheim Mayor, Harry S. Sidhu, was re-selected. This term is for two years, beginning January 2022, and expiring December 2023.
  • For the 5th Supervisorial District, a population-weighted seat, Mission Viejo Council Member Brian Goodell, was re-selected. This term is for two years, beginning January 2022, and expiring December 2023.

The Orange County City Selection Committee is comprised of mayors from each of Orange County's 34 cities and is administered by the County of Orange Clerk of the Board of Supervisors. The committee makes appointments to regional boards and commissions.
