OCTA, the Orange County Wheelmen, and TheBOBies will hold a group bicycle ride to the grand opening of the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) on Dec. 13. A major transportation hub for travel throughout Orange County and beyond, ARTIC will provide connections among many types of transportation, including OCTA buses, Metrolink trains, the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner, and regional buses.
Riders of all skill levels are welcome to join the group ride along the Santa Ana Trail to the iconic ARTIC facility that will also feature many dining and shopping options.
There are two entry points for the bicycle ride. At Yorba Regional Park, riders will assemble at 8 a.m. and leave at 8:30 a.m. for a 10-mile ride. Cyclists joining at Atlanta Street and the Santa Ana Trail in Huntington Beach will also arrive at 8:00 a.m. and depart at 8:30 a.m. for an 11-mile trip. Riders are also welcome to join the group anywhere along the Santa Ana River Trail.
