OCTA updates the Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) every four years to account for new planning efforts as well as changes in demographics, economic conditions, and available sources of transportation funding. The LRTP outlines strategies to improve the county’s freeways, streets, bus, rail and non-motorized programs.
OCTA will hold an open house on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at OCTA (600 S. Main Street in Orange) to provide members of the public with an opportunity to express their opinions on the proposed solutions. The event will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a presentation at 6 p.m. For more information, visit octa.net/LRTP.
