City of Irvine Conducts Online Walking and Biking Survey

If you visit, live or work in Irvine, city planners would like to know how you incorporate walking or biking into your day-to-day activities.  Let them know by taking 10 to 15 minutes for an online survey at cityofirvine.org/survey.

Those who complete the survey by mid-March will be entered into an opportunity drawing for a chance to win prizes donated by bike shops and other retail stores in Irvine.

The survey is part of the development of a Citywide Active Transportation Plan to improve and promote the use of the city’s extensive network of bicycle and pedestrian trails. Active transportation is the term for using human power to get around and is often used in conjunction with cycling and walking.

The plan will assess potential barriers to walking and biking, research solutions to address those barriers, and provide specific recommendations that can be implemented into the city’s active transportation network of trails.
