OCTA joins the nation and global community in recognizing Pride month in June.
June was designated as Pride month to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in New York City as a turning point in the Gay Liberation Movement in the U.S. For more history about Pride month, visit the Library of Congress website here.
