Students from more than a dozen schools participated in OCTA’s recent Career Expo to learn about the many different career opportunities offered at Orange County’s primary transit service and regional transportation planning entity. Conducted virtually, the event was open to high school seniors and college students.
In three breakout sessions, employee volunteers shared the knowledge, skills, and education needed for the various positions within OCTA. They showcased the many rewarding career opportunities at OCTA in human resources, marketing and communications, bus and rail operations, public outreach, finance, planning, engineering, maintenance, and construction and more.
OCTA hopes to conduct the 2023 Career Expo onsite at OCTA headquarters in Orange with in-person engagement, games, prizes, and opportunities to meet face to face with employees in OCTA. For more information, contact Leslie Tuiteleleapaga at LTuiteleleapaga@octa.net.
