Back for the fifth year, the popular Angels Express is just weeks away from its first day of operation on April 2, 2015. Last year’s ridership broke records for the special Metrolink service that provides convenient service to and from all Angels weeknight home games starting at 7:05 p.m.
To make this year just as successful, OCTA is reaching out before the season starts to fans who enjoy riding the train to the stadium. Through emails and social media, OCTA is encouraging riders to share photos from their past Angels Express trips for an opportunity to win prizes. The effort will build a sense of community among current riders, and also establish a collection of photos and stories that can be used to promote the service throughout the season.

To celebrate the Angels Express, OCTA will hold a kick-off rally on April 10 at Irvine Station. The first 100 adults will receive authentic Angels Express gear, and one lucky fan will win an exclusive Angels Grand Prize, including four game tickets. There will be food, games and fun for everyone before boarding the 5:59 p.m. Angels Express.
