Spoiler alert: For anyone with a sense of adventure and a Metrolink ticket, this is going to be one awesome summer.
Beginning June 23 – two days after the official start of summer – OCTA will launch Seven Summer Treasures, a guide to cool spots near Metrolink stations. But that’s not all. Through partnerships with local businesses, OCTA is giving away more than 100 valuable prizes, including a 4-pack of Disneyland® Resort Park Hopper® tickets.
As they experience the seven treasures – Los Angeles, Fullerton, Anaheim, Orange, San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, and Oceanside – participants will be encouraged to share their adventures through a photo contest using the hashtag #metrolink7. OCTA will share the photos on social media and enter participants in weekly drawings for Metrolink tickets, restaurant gift cards, museum tickets, and much more.
Seven Summer Treasures will encourage summer travelers to choose Metrolink for awesome adventures at a reasonable price. The $10 Weekend Day Pass can be used anywhere Metrolink goes all day either Saturday or Sunday.
