The 2013 OCTA Annual Report, “The Many Ways We Move You,” is available online. The report highlights OCTA’s accomplishments in improving Orange County’s freeways, local streets and roads, transit systems, and ridesharing options.
In fiscal year 2012-2013, OCTA kept people moving by reducing freeway congestion, improving safety and efficiency on local roads, adding new bus service and regional multimodal connections, and providing safe, convenient transportation to those with special needs.
The annual report for Measure M, “The Many Ways Measure M Moves You,” is also online. Measure M is Orange County’s half-cent transportation sales tax.
This past year was the first full-year implementation of the $5 billion M2020 Plan, which outlines projects and programs for all modes that can be delivered or are underway on an expedited schedule between now and 2020. OCTA is on track and is making progress on the 14 objectives identified in the report.
