OCTA has completed 41 of 92 milestones including the I-405, I-5 and SR-91 freeways, building the OC Streetcar, funding improvements for streets and the OC Bus system.
The $160.4 million grant from the Federal Transit Administration will help continue providing safe and reliable public transit services during the pandemic.
SR-91 improvements between SR-57 and SR-55 include improvements to the Anaheim Canyon Metrolink Station and Fairmont Boulevard and construction of the Placentia Metrolink station.
Metrolink’s new “How Full Is My Train?” webpage allows riders to check recent train ridership levels to confirm their ability to maintain safe distances on board.
OCTA’s approval of a draft plan to convert the OC Bus fleet to 100 percent zero-emission technology by 2040 will help bring cleaner air quality to Orange County.
