On June 2, Old Town Tustin will be very, very busy enjoying its annual Street Fair and Chili Cook-off.
This highly anticipated event attracts people from all over Orange County from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for entertainment, crafts, contests, and, of course, chili cooking and eating.
Given the crowds the fair will attract, consider leaving your car at home. Competition will be fierce for available parking.
Instead, take OC Bus Routes 60, 64, 66, 71 or 79 to the fair. Plan your bus trip here. At the fair, drop by the OCTA booth, show your OC Bus pass, and get a free chili-tasting coupon.
Metrolink is another option. Take the train to the Tustin station and ride the free shuttle to the event from 10:30 a.m. (first shuttle) to 3 p.m. (last shuttle). With the Metrolink Weekends Day Pass, unlimited rides all day Saturday or Sunday are only $10 and kids age 5 and under ride free with paying adult (up to 3 per adult).
