Metrolink will offer special train service from Oceanside to L.A. Union Station for the popular Freeway Series (Angels versus Dodgers) at Dodger Stadium on May 27 and 28. This special service is made possible with support from the Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee.
Round-trip tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and the disabled and $4 for riders ages 18 and younger. Up to three children ages 5 and younger can ride free with each paying adult. Riders can then show their Metrolink tickets to ride the Dodger Stadium Express bus shuttle at no additional cost.
Meet Former Players at Two Free Events
OCTA and Metrolink are celebrating this special service with kick-off events in Orange County on May 27 and 28. The events are scheduled before game time, so that fans attending these events can then catch the train to the game.
Fans can meet former Angels and Dodgers player Jay Johnstone at the Irvine Transportation Center on 1:30 p.m May 27 and former Angels catcher and four-time All Star Bob Boone at the Laguna Niguel / Mission Viejo Station on May 28 at 3:15 p.m.
Johnstone and Boone will pose for pictures with fans and sign autographs. Passengers may bring a non-perishable food item to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank for a chance to spin a prize wheel. Prizes include Metrolink tickets, Angels merchandise and OCTA gear.

*Please note: There will be no Metrolink service in Orange County on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, except for this special train service to and from the baseball game.
