During Rideshare Week from Oct. 6 to 10, Orange County residents pledge to commute using convenient public transportation alternatives like bus, train, carpool or vanpool, or by walking or biking. Their efforts help decrease traffic congestion and reduce pollution – and help them win prizes, including an iPad mini.
This year, OCTA is encouraging greater participation by awarding prizes to those rideshare superheroes who pledge online and share the news with family and friends. After they pledge, participants receive a special URL. Those who share it and refer three or more people have a chance to win a $50 gift card.
