This holiday season, combine the fun and adventure of a train ride with a visit to the Festival of Lights in Riverside. Held at the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa, the illuminating event was named one of America’s Best Public Lights Display and includes festive entertainment and delicious seasonal treats.
Metrolink will operate special train service to the Festival of Lights on Nov. 25-26 and Dec. 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, and 17. Fares will be $7 roundtrip, and three kids ages 6 to 18 can ride free with one adult. The Festival of Lights begins at 5 p.m. each night.
Riverside is easy to reach from Orange County on the Perris Valley/91 (PV/91) Metrolink line. Climb aboard and enjoy a relaxing time with your family and leave the hassles of driving and parking behind. From the Riverside Metrolink Station, catch a free shuttle to the Mission Inn.
